One-Week Birthday

Just a handful of hours ago this time last week, our precious Evan and Taryn arrived in this world. Today is their one-week birthday and the celebration continues. We've absolutely cherished every single second of their little lives and they have brought such joy and love to our family. God's wonder and grandeur sure is evidenced on their unbelievably beautiful faces and in their sweet little souls. We soak up every single minute...every facial expression....and even every tone in their cry. While sleep has a new and relative meaning for us :-) ....LIFE sure has a newfound depth of love, meaning, and amazement with the addition of our Evan and Taryn to the family. It's a fun "scramble" during the 2 or 3 hours between feedings to get "things" done...sleep, house chores, or whatever else. We know in time that "clock" will expand, and thus work to capture every moment as bookmarks in a wonderous journey.
Evan and Taryn had their third visitors today...Marilyn and Meghan; they have followed Mike and Dale Talley and their Aunt Marva. We'll welcome in Mom and Dad Sutt on Sunday and then have a steady flow of family for the following 4-5 weeks. It's going to be great to have them in and let them meet Evan and Taryn firsthand! And with every visitor comes the chance for them to jot a note or two to the twins in each of their baby books....which will be a special momento to them in the years to come. We've also been working on the birth announcements...they are due to hit the mail by next Monday so be sure to check your mailbox starting late next week!
Gena and I are having a great time with our new camera in trying to freeze some of the best moments. It's great to share them with everyone, and we'll include some as often as we can. There are a few from the last couple of days below. We continue to thank you for your love, support, and prayers and ask God that He bless you in the ways you have blessed our family.
